Acer Aspire 9300 Chipset Driver

Acer Aspire Average Score: Though it lacks some of the niceties found on higher-end multimedia systems, this notebook delivers outstanding value. But if you can live without some or all of these options, it's a very good deal. Still, for a big screen without the big bucks, the Aspire delivers.

PC Mag The Acer Aspire is a bargain for those who are looking for a desktop-like experience on a laptop. It's ideal for those who have basic computing and media needs, such as watching an occasional DVD movie or editing family photos. Technically it is simply lower clocked GeForce Go Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards. I've found the unit to be very quiet although a little on the hot side for my preference but i believe the unit is intended to run this way in Acer Aspire 9300 Chipset to keep it quieter.
I've had no issues with it except that the mainboard needed to be changed as mine was an ex-display model and everyone that came into the shop gave the left touchpad a firm prodding apparently as the button was very insensitive Acer Aspire 9300 Chipset i got it. The fan on the unit is very quiet and you'll occaisionally hear it spin up but will soon revert to being quiet again.

Anyway I'm pretty sure the processors had it as another laptop without a processor performs the same when boot is attempted. The laptop uses a Socket1 interface so replacing the processor is no big deal, though I must remember to buy some thermal paste! I can pick a dual core 1.
So, first off, if anyone could confirm that the problem is most likely in the processor rather than in the socket itself, the controller, CMOS, or some other board-related failure, no signs of any track damage, cracks, or burnt out chips as far as I can tellI'd be grateful. Secondly, if anyone knows of the clock ranges this board supports I'd also be grateful. I don't see any table on the board and I don't want to Acer Aspire 9300 Chipset a processor only to find this board doesn't take it and I've to underclock, or even worse, overclock without adequate heat protection.
